The State Institute for Urban Development (SIUD), Mysore is an urban sector apex State Training Institute, established by the Department of Urban Development, Government of Karnataka in the year 1998. The institute is situated in the Administrative Training Institute(ATI) campus, Lalitha Mahal Road, Mysore 570 011. The Institute is situated at a distance of 4 kms from the Bus Stand and 5.5 kms from the Railway Station.

The Institute became an Autonomous Institue in August 2001. The SIUD has a Governing Body and a Governing Council.
