The State Institute of Urban Development (SIUD) Mysuru is an urban sector apex State Training Institute, established by the Department of Urban Development, Government of Karnataka in 1999. It is located in picturesque surroundings in the campus of Administrative Training Institute, Mysuru and is well equipped to conduct residential training programmes for over 200 trainees at a time. There are 5 lecture halls with seating capacity of more 200 trainees, 1 conference hall with a seating capacity of 50 trainees and computer training facilities that accommodate more than 50 trainees.
SIUD conduct training programmes through funds allocated by the State Urban Development Department, Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD) project funds. Several State departments also entrust the training programmes to conduct trainings for their officers and staffs.
